The same spring, the company trading name was abbreviated toTekla.

The company, named Teknillinen laskenta Oy(“technical computing”) was registered in February 1966. Companies that performed advancedengineering computing had also adopted Automatic Data Processing(ADP).Due to the ever-increasing amount of computing work and lackof resources, a group of engineering offices established a jointsoftware company.
